The day of our birdhouse volunteering was surprisingly productive and eye-opening for all of the members of Green Grin. We were able to visit two Los Angeles community gardens and help renovate them. Everyone we met on that day was friendly and warm

It was cool to see how our birdhouses could finally make a difference after we made so many. It was the first time I’ve seen any community gardens in Los Angeles and it was a rewarding experience. The head gardeners were super nice and supportive!
